Opening in late 2010, the 275,000-square-foot Irving Convention Center at Las Colinas is part of a mixed-use entertainment district on 40 acres in the Las Colinas Urban Center. The facility's highly flexible, stacked design allows it to host several different types of events concurrently, and the building's unique architecture, vertical design and interior finish create a new niche in the marketplace.

Components of phase two of the project include 300,000 square feet of entertainment venue on the 40 acres of land where the convention center is located. This development, expected to open in 2011, includes a 6,000-person capacity performance venue with 50 suites overlooking the stage. There will also be 10 themed restaurants, along with retail shopping options.  A privately developed headquarters hotel adjacent to the convention center will add 350-450 rooms and an additional 15,000 square feet of meeting space.
