IRVING, Texas (July 9, 2013)... Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas will be the home venue for Texas Wild of the Mylan World TeamTennis league. The team is coached by the Resort's own tennis professional Brent Haygarth, and will play on the newly transformed Championship Court, constructed with seating for approximately 2,100 fans.

The Texas Wild competes against the Washington Kastles at the season's first home match on Wednesday, July 10.

"We are thrilled to be the host site for the 2013 season of Mylan World TeamTennis and the new Irving team, Texas Wild, says Luis Argote, general manager at Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas.

"Our tennis facilities are some of the finest in the country and the property is consistently ranked as a Top 50 Tennis Resort in the US by Tennis magazine. We are excited to welcome Texas Wild to Irving and are deeply committed to providing a world class tennis experience for both the players and spectators."

Marquee Texas Wild players include the reigning US Open, Australian Open, French Open and Wimbledon doubles champions Bob and Mike Bryan, and former world number 1 singles player Jim Courier, winner of four grand slam events. Other Texas Wild team members include Alex Bogomolov Jr, Eugenie Bouchard, Darija Jurak and Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi.

The team will also host a visit from the Boston Lobsters and their marquee player, Mark Philippoussis, former world top 10.

"I am extremely pleased to be able to have the Bryan brothers play for the Texas Wild, said Jeff Launius, co-owner and general manager. Also having world-class players such as Mark Philippoussis on visiting rosters will make it a very exciting inaugural year for our fans."

Earlier this year the team unveiled its new logo, which plays on the theme with Irving and the city's Mustangs of Las Colinas - a breathtakingly realistic bronze sculpture of nine wild mustangs located in the heart of Irving's renowned Las Colinas Urban Center that memorializes the heritage of Texas. At one and a half times life size, Irving's mustangs are the largest equestrian sculpture in the world.

The 2013 season of Mylan World TeamTennis runs in eight US markets this July.  Texas Wild plays in the Western Conference along with the Orange County Breakers (Irvine, California); Sacramento Capitals (Sacramento, California) and the Springfield Lasers (Springfield, Missouri). The Eastern Conference includes the 2012 Champion Washington Kastles (Washington, DC), Boston Lobsters (Boston, Massachusetts), New York Sportimes (New York, New York) and the Philadelphia Freedoms (Villanova, Pennsylvania).
