What's a Cruise-In? A Cruise-In is where people bring out their cool hot rods, classic cars and motorcycles and hang out and check out all the other cool rides that show up. Big State is a 1950's soda fountain in Irving on the corner of Irving Blvd & Main Street. Y'all come on out & fill up Main Street & take Downtown Irving back to the 1950's! There's plenty of parking for everybody. The address is 100 E. Irving Blvd.

Lucky for us, this event is at a prime dining destination in town. So all you motor heads be there and then grab an amazing meal. It really will be like you stepped back in time. Don't have a classic car?  No problem! Cruise through the parking lot and check out a variety of cars from days gone by.

Big State boasts to being open eight days a week. I love that, sounds like something Chuck Norris would say. See you Saturday night! Learn More

There's something really cool about this benefit concert 'cause it directly helps send an Irving student on scholarship to the Berklee College of Music! Now, that is something I can get behind.

The students from Irving ISD and the Lone Star Youth Orchestra have been working hard to put together a great showcase for you. There will also be special musical act performing, Leo Hull & the Texas Blues Machine. This group plays around 300 gigs a year and will soothe your soul with blues with a little jump to it. The event is sponsored by the Irving Schools Foundation and $10 tickets can be purchased at Joe's Coffee Shop, Irving ISD and Rambler Newspaper. Learn More
