Built in 1903, this lovely home is the last surviving mansion from Fort Worth's Cattle Baron Era still open to the public on a regular basis. Built by cattle baron W.T. Waggoner for his daughter Electra, it stands as one of the finest examples of Georgian Revival architecture in the Southwest. Restoration is ongoing.
Tour Hours: are Wednesday-Friday at 11, 12,1 and 2 o'clock, and Sunday at 1,2 and 3 o'clock. All tours start on the hour and are subject to availability. Admission is $15 for adults and $7.50 for children (6-12). All tickets include a tour of both Thistle Hill and the Ball-Eddleman-McFarland House. The properties are 5 minutes apart by car. Group rates available.
