The Fogo de Chao concept began on a family farm in southern Brazil where they learned to cook in the churrascu grilling tradition. With a passion to share their culinary expertise, they opened a small restaurant in Brazil which quickly became well known. Following this enterprise, they opened a new location in Sao Paulo. As the popularity grew there, they decided to open a location in the United States and chose Addison, Texas. Since then, they have opened over 30 restaurants.
The Gauchos (waiters) serve the meats at tableside and cut it as the guest requests. There is an expansive salad and vegetable array on the Market Table for all of the guests.
