Golf Courses in Irving, Texas

Irving and Dallas/Fort Worth are home to some of the best golf courses in the United States. With five 18-hole golf courses in Irving alone, including options to golf Las Colinas, and dozens of courses in the Dallas/Fort Worth, there’s no reason you can’t play 9 or 18 holes on your next trip. Enjoy the beautiful scenery, rolling hills, and great weather of Texas as you walk, or cart, your way around one of the area’s exclusive courses.

Golf Courses in Irving

Irving has plenty to offer golfers of all levels. Whether you want to set aside time in your travel schedule to get in some practice, snag some lessons, or do a full 18 holes, there are plenty of courses to choose from.

Spend a day over at Hackberry Creek Country Club in Irving, one of the “Best Country Clubs in DFW” according to Avid Golfer. Hackberry Creek’s unique facilities and unparalleled service consistently exceed expectations. They offer everything from golf to tennis to swimming at this full-service club. But the golf is outstanding. This spectacular golf course in Irving, designed by the legendary Byron Nelson, is an 18-hole championship course that is 7,013 yards long. With its scenic hills, typical to the Irving area, the recently updated course offers mini verde greens, premium Arkansas white sand bunkers, and beautiful water features that promise a challenging game each time you play. The Joe Finger practice facility offers putting, chipping, and a driving range full of amenities including target greens to help improve any golf game.

If you want to golf Las Colinas, look no further than the storied Tournament Players Course (TPC) Las Colinas. TPC Las Colinas is part of a comprehensive, award-winning golf resort. The 18-hole, par-70 course measuring 7,166 yards from the championship tees has received a major redesign offering a new layout, designed to be challenging for professional golfers as well as inviting to recreational players. The resort also offers a driving range, sand bunker practice area, and putting and chipping greens.

Other golf courses in Las Colinas include the Las Colinas Country Club.  This Las Colinas golf course was classically designed in 1963 by Joe Finger and provides plenty of challenges for all golfers, whether pro or novice. The beautiful Las Colinas golf course is perfect for business outings with clients or fun-filled games with friends. If you’re looking for world-class Dallas golf with breathtaking city views, this is the spot for you.

Another 18-hole course, Cottonwood Valley Golf serves as the exclusive golf course for members of Four Seasons Golf and Sports Club. Updated in 2006, this par 71 course measures 7,120 yards and features bermuda grass fairways and bentgrass greens. As a nice creative touch, the number one signature hole's green was designed by the course's original golf architect, Robert Trent Jones Jr., in the shape of Texas with a bunker in the shape of Oklahoma and a lake resembling the Gulf of Mexico.

Golf Beyond Irving

Just a short drive away is Luna Vista Golf in Dallas, a full-service, 18-hole golf course with everything you could need: a practice facility, lessons, a golf shop, and bar and grill. Spend a day there working on your game and enjoying the friendly atmosphere. The course is well-designed and meticulously maintained, making it a true joy to play. Don’t miss out on the other nearby courses. Dallas clubs and courses include AT&T Bryan Nelson, The Tribute Golf Club, Cowboys Golf Club, and the Texas Star Golf Course and Conference Center.
