Live Music in Irving Texas: June 2018

Tuesday, June 5, 2018 10:00 AM by Visit Irving

Laid-back summer jams are on the live music lineup for Irving this June. Don’t miss concerts from chart-toppers like Post Malone and 21 Savage, performances from classic rock heroes Styx and Joan Jett, and, of course, country music. Plus, it’s your chance to experience the multicultural music featured at the annual Canal Fest.

If you really want to have a feel of lots of places in the world, come experience Canal Fest. Irving, also known as "the most diverse zip code in the country," is a fun and entertaining place to be all year round, most especially during this famous festival - Canal Fest. It's all about a diverse display of art and culture from around the world you don’t want to miss. Filled with a lot of activities for all age groups, here is what you want to know and experience at this year's Canal Fest!

Happy National Donut Day! You know we love our foodie holidays here in Irving. Any reason to celebrate our favorite foods, right? Well today, we’re celebrating the country’s most beloved fried (or sometimes baked, ugh, okay we won’t judge) dough confection a.k.a donuts! Here are some of our favorite donut places in Irving. Take notes and get ready to stuff your face with these delicious concoctions of sugar, yeast, and magic!

Start your summer off with a refreshing 100% all natural frozen fruit bar from the Pop Factory, swing by Nosh and Bottle to pick up some gourmet cheese and select wine, then grab a concert before a late night dinner. There's a world of delights awaiting you at the Toyota Music Factory in Irving, Texas. I've picked my top five spots, but don't let that sway you from trying them all. Drop by our website at irvingtexas.com/restaurants/music-factory for more information about all of the fun you can find at the Toyota Music Factory.

National Wine Day -- isn’t that a great way to kick off the Memorial Day weekend (which is also the official summer kickoff as a whole)? Whether you’re into the full-bodied reds, fruity whites, or sparkling Italian (perfect for the summer!), we could all agree that there’s a subtle warmth that only a glass of wine could offer. It’s elegant, smooth, but also light and fun, and for the love of vino! We will not let this great foodie holiday go to waste. Not in our city! So scroll down, read along, and plan your weekend of celebrating the fruit of the vine and welcoming summer in Irving. Cheers to that. ;)

“Life is too short to eat basic food,” – y’all know that famous quote right? No? Oh, right, that’s because we just made it up! With so many bold flavors and daring combinations of food available around town, this quote is so relatable to us here in Irving. I mean y’all, we have everything from boozy milkshakes with a slice of pie on top, to a 46 ounce-steak that’s as big as our face! Scroll down and read more.

Memorial Day weekend is a great time to gather with family and friends for cookouts and pre-summer activities.  It's also a great time to teach your children about our true heroes, the servicemen and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.
