Music Can Do That

What can make dark skies turn blue? Well, besides a break in the weather, music can. It will lift your spirits and make you glad you ditched your snuggie for an outside adventure. Here in Irving, Texas we have quite a line up of diverse music this weekend, and combined with great food it's the perfect recipe to put a little sunshine in your soul.  So grab the umbrella and head on out to one of these events. Don't forget to drive friendly now.

Eating out does not always mean spending a lot of money. Especially when you’re in Irving! There are various affordable meals offered around the city, with flavors from all over the world. In the process of writing this article, we have learned more about the city of Irving and many different cultures thriving in it, than we ever did before. And the best part was -- we didn’t have to break the bank for it!

What do you not know about the JFK assassination in downtown Dallas? We all know the familiar story and maybe driven by or visited the book depository museum too. But did you know that in Irving, Lee Harvey Oswald and his wife had ties here? I was able to learn about this connection on my family’s recent trip to Ruth Paine House Museum in South Irving.
