Happy New Year! Dec 30 - Jan 1

Friday, December 30, 2016 5:00 PM by Carol Stoddard

Happy New Year y'all!  Whatever 2016 has meant to you, I hope that 2017 brings even more fun, love and happiness. With everything that happened in 2016, I sure learned a lot! Most of all, I learned that Irving has some really great restaurants. In all four corners of the city you can find something for everyone.  Check out our restaurant list and see for yourself.  And as for 2017, I hope to learn more about The Music Factory, the entertainment complex which is being built right next door to our offices here at the Irving Convention Center.  I get to watch its progress every day.  It's so exciting to see steel beams built higher and higher, and to hear the sounds of construction machinery hard at work.  And then there's Water Street, a mixed-use development being built across the street from The Mustang Museum at Williams Square.  It sure is an exciting time to live and work in Irving.  While you're celebrating the upcoming year, you might want to visit these Irving events I've listed below.  For additional area events, check out our Visit Irving event page.
