There is something so comforting about eating at a classic diner on Saturday morning, enjoying home-cooked style food, served by friendly staff and at economical prices. Irving Diner is a nostalgic blast from the past 50’s diner experience. While the walls may be filled with legends and icons of the mid-20th century, their quality, cleanliness and delicious foods have stood the test of time, and they continue to keep up with today’s modern pace.

Winter Wonderland Wines in Irving

Friday, December 3, 2021 12:00 PM by Chelsea Bilbia

The temperatures are dropping in Irving, and for me, the best way to warm up is with a glass of wine. Start the fireplace, grab a blanket and sip on some holiday cheer with these winter wines! They are perfect pairings for roasts, creamy sauces, decadent desserts and all things that make the season delicious. Both red and white wine lovers will find something to enjoy this winter, and they may ask for a few bottles as stocking stuffers once they find out how great some wines pair with their holiday favorites.

6 Places to Warm Up with a Cappuccino

Wednesday, November 24, 2021 11:00 AM by Chelsea Bilbia

Temperatures are dropping and it's time to put your iced coffee on hold till spring. While often overshadowed by lattes, you should not miss out on a hot, smooth cappuccino. A cappuccino consists of espresso, steamed milk, and topped with ultra frothy milk foam. Rather than a latte, which is mostly steamed milk and often accompanied by added flavors, you can definitely taste the espresso more in a cappuccino for it is equal parts espresso and milk. To enjoy the rich flavor and perfect balance of sweet and bitter, try a high-quality espresso in Irving at one of our many local coffee shops. Check out these places below to warm up with a cappuccino this winter season.

The ultimate foodie and music lover destination; Toyota Music Factory (TMF) is an exciting blend of restaurants, bars, live music, and community events. Located in Las Colinas, Toyota Music Factory is home to several local Irving businesses and is a great spot to show tourists and locals alike what Irving has to offer. Whatever you are in the mood for, TMF has it. Tacos, craft beers, hard-to-find wines, brunch, fresh sushi; the options are endless and your taste buds will always leave happy! It's the perfect “night out” location: catch a delicious dinner, enjoy some live music, then hit last call for a nightcap. For those that like to rise with the sun on the weekends, Toyota Music Factory offers several outdoor community workout classes that are begging to be followed by a sweet and savory brunch with friends. While it all may be one location, each night out at Toyota Music Factory will feel unique and create great memories with the ever-changing music lineups and incredible food.

Uniquely Irving: Edoko Omakase

Friday, October 22, 2021 7:00 AM by Chelsea Bilbia

When searching for the outstanding sushi in Irving, look no further than Edoko Omakase. This locally owned restaurant serves up only fresh ingredients and always sources from local farmers markets when possible, while the kitchen features a sushi chef expert with over 20 years of experience. All seafood served here is extremely high quality and you will feel as if you are dining along the shores of Japan with every bite. While sushi is king, there is an array of flavorful Japanese dishes for all to enjoy. Some of my favorites include the teriyaki chicken and shrimp tempura. Those looking to keep a vegetarian diet will enjoy the rich umami flavors through the vegetable tempura and the vege don with a mixed variety of pickled veggies served on top of sushi rice.
