Spring is in full swing during the month of April and outdoors is begging you to come and play. Highlighting this month's events is the greatly anticipated return of the PGA TOUR to Irving. Along with the biggest names on the Champions Tour, the ClubCorp Classic is bringing an A-list of celebs, such as Aaron Rodgers, Tony Romo and Emmitt Smith. Named by Avid Golfer as one of the Best Country Clubs in 2019, the Las Colinas Country Club is where the action will be. There are many things to explore in Irving during the month of April, so tee off with any one of these ideas below. 

Hop Around Irving for Easter Eats and Treats

In late November, we gave you a chance to meet local chef and restaurant owner David Lamberti of Lamberti’s Ristorante. It was so much fun, we decided it was time to meet another local chef doing great things here in Irving.

Chef Ashley Henderson is the Executive Chef at the NYLO Las Colinas Hotel, and she not only works in Irving, but lives here too. She took some time out to answer our questions so you can get to know her too. 

We don’t usually celebrate Valentine’s Day, because well…I’m just not into anything cheesy and lovey-dovey like that (ever since I was a teenager, true story!). So when I noticed that Valentine’s Day was like two weeks away from last weekend, I thought, hey, why not do a little staycation around my city of Las Colinas and have a little getaway with my little family.
