The Las Colinas Association is hosting a drive-through “Cocoa with Santa” on Saturday, Dec. 5. This free event (registration required) will include gourmet hot cocoa, DIY cookie kits for the first 100 cars at each time slot (10 a.m. to noon; or 2-4 p.m.), and a socially distant visit and photo with Santa. All guests are asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate to Irving Cares or make a monetary donation, which enters you into LCA’s holiday raffle for cool prizes!

A winter wonderland of spectacularly decorated holiday trees awaits you at the Irving Arts Center’s 28th Annual Holiday Tree Exhibition, Dec. 5-31. Finding inspiration in this year’s theme, “Celebrating a Season of Music,” various community groups and schools will put their decorated trees on display, beginning Dec. 5, for both virtual and in-person viewing. To view and vote for your favorite trees online, go to the IAC’s Facebook page. To view the trees in person, reserve a time during normal gallery hours, Tuesday-Saturday, from 12 noon to 5 p.m. (Note: all voting will take place online.)
