April 1: Happy Easter!

  • Easter brunch buffets around town. Read all about it and RSVP!
  • 2nd Dallas Korean Traditional Music Festival is happening at the Irving Arts Center. This event features Korean folk songs and tickets run $50. 
  • Art with a Heart, Empower and Excel is coming to the Irving Arts Center. If you love color and music, this event is for you.

April 3:

April 5:

  • Swan Song, the longest running Led Zeppelin Tribute in the South. $10 cover starts at 8:30 p.m., show at 10 p.m. Come early for Thirsty Thursday drink specials, a cook-it-yourself steak dinner, and free progressive two-step dance lessons at 6:45 p.m.

April 6

  • DFW Fiber Fest 2018 is coming to the Irving Convention Center April 6-8. Vendor Hall tickets are purchased at the door. Admission to the Vendor Hall is $5 per day or $10 for a weekend pass. There will be classes shopping opportunities. 
  • The Irving Concert Series presents free live music every Friday night, 7-8:45 p.m., at the Whistlestop Plaza. The theme for April is Vintage Vibes. 
  • Rain: A Tribute to the Beatles will be at The Pavilion performing album ‘Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band’ in it’s entirety on Friday, April 6th! 

April 7

  • Get ready to rock when Jason Elmore & Hoodoo Witch take the stage at the Texas Musicians Museum. Call 972-259-4444 for more info or to purchase your tickets.
  • Bring out the whole family for Pet Pawlooza event to explore the Irving Animal Care Campus, meet adoptable pets, meet local pet vendors and more! Approved adoptions will be just $5 all day!
  • Take part in the 6th Annual Irving Marathon at the newly minted Toyota Music Factory!  Featuring Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K, 5K and Fun Run events with LIVE music and fun for the whole family!

April 8

  • Second Sunday Family Funday is bringing the fun! Art projects, will be offered throughout the afternoon. Also bring the kids to see the Southwest Dairy Farmers “moo-bile,” dairy classroom at the Irving Arts Center. Milking demonstrations with a live cow at 1:45, 2:30 and 3:15 p.m.
  • Head to the Irving Arts Center to enjoy Love Letters from Argentina, Mexico and Brazil, by the New Philharmonic Orchestra of Irving, show starts at 3 p.m. 

April 12

  • Anyone who loves 80's hair metal will not want to miss Saints & Sinners ~ Whitesnake Tribute at Southern Junction. Doors open at 6 p.m.

April 13

  • It's here! The Toyota Music Factory's Grand Opening Weekend will go down in history! Be part of the fun.

April 20 

  • April 20-21 is a big weekend at the Irving Convention Center! The North Texas Teen Book Festival is back and bringing it's author power. Get your tickets and join this one-of-a-kind event! 
  • Momentum Dance Company returns with it’s Gala Evening of Dance with all new works from seven choreographers. It is a beautiful show at a beautiful venue, the Irving Arts Center
  • It always fills up fast so reserve your spot for the Night Hike on Campion Trail.

April 21

  • At 8 p.m. the Las Colinas Symphony Orchestra will perform, enjoy MAHLER Symphony No. 1 in D Major (“Titan”) and other beautiful compositions.

  • Irving Vintage Trail Market is the best in downtown Irving! Come out from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. The market offers one-of-a-kind products such as original art, handmade crafts, vintage and antique treasures, and edibles from locally owned businesses.
  • Meet at the park from 2-3 p.m. to celebrate National Poetry Month for Poetry in the Park. Gather the entire family, pack a picnic, a blanket, and your favorite poems, and enjoy readings and performances by local poets.
