The traveling art exhibition of This Light of Ours: Activist Photographers of the Civil Rights Movement spotlights the men and women who documented our nation's struggle against segregation and bigotry. Unlike most photojournalists, this exhibit focuses on student activists and local people behind the movement.

  • Second Sunday Funday at the Irving Arts Center is a monthly guided craft program that's geared for the whole family.  This month, crafts draw inspiration from Martin Luther King Jr's message of peace, love and equality.  Free.  1 - 4 p.m.


  • Irving Arts Association presents two art exhibits at the Jaycee Park Center for the Arts. Gallery hours are Sun, Mon, Wed & Thu 1-4 p.m. and Tue 10:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. Exhibits run through Jan. 26.
  • Irving Arts Center presents three art exhibits.  Gallery hours are Mon, Tue, Wed & Fri 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.; Thu 9 a.m. - 8 p.m.; Sat 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.; Sun 1 - 5 p.m.
