The Keg Steakhouse & Bar
859 W John Carpenter Fwy, Irving, TX 75039
The Keg in Las Colinas is a great place for date night, happy hour, or simply an amazing dinner out. A beautiful steak and a bold glass of red wine come together for a perfect compliment. Here are my recommendations for steak and wine pairing; Syrah with ribeye, Malbec with filet mignon, Cabernet Sauvignon with NY strip steak, and Bordeaux with prime rib. Of course, these are just recommendations because the best part about wine is finding what you personally like and enjoying your glass.
Some other incredible steak restaurants in Irving to check out are The Ranch, Blaze Brazilian Steakhouse, and LAW located at the Four Seasons Resort.
Thirsty Lion Gastropub & Grill
350 West Las Colinas Boulevard, Irving, TX 75039
One of my favorite desserts in Irving is from Thirsty Lion Gastropub. The Deep Dish Chocolate Porter Brownie comes with pecans, caramel, and chocolate fudge sauces, baked in a cast-iron skillet and served with premium vanilla ice cream. After a great meal of burgers and amazing appetizers, this dessert with a glass of cabernet is the perfect finish to any night. Also on the menu are a hot fudge sundae and crème brûlée, which pair great with a lighter red wine. Thirsty Lion has a great wine list to help find excellent compliments to all their dishes.
