Juneteenth Celebration

Join the City of Irving and the West Irving Improvement Association from 4 to 7 p.m. June 15 for the 2019 celebration. Visitors can learn about Irving’s rich history in the museums at the nearby Jackie Townsell Bear Creek Heritage Center and enjoy a community picnic sponsored by In-N-Out Burger.

This year’s event will also feature free musical performances, local vendors, outdoor games and children’s activities. Residents are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets.
