The North Texas Business Alliance (NTBA) was established in 1999 for the benefit of its members in and around North Texas. It serves convenience store and gasoline station owners, equipping them with bulk purchasing power, industry know-how and the right connections to strengthen their business practices and effectively compete in the market.
As a cooperative they are marked by the unity of our membership which currently stands at north of 600 stores and the integrity of growth and leadership of successful entrepreneurs and industry veterans. They provide meaningful size, scale and scope for suppliers, vendors and service providers and help connect the right vendors to their members through advertisement and spanner/poster programs, annual Expo and the preferred vendor program. Their partners are selected based on their ability to provide excellent customer service and a competitive edge to members and range from Fortune 500 companies such as Coca-Cola, Pepsi and Dr. Pepper all the way to up and coming regional service providers.
For their members, they use their collective buying power to benefit stores through rate negotiations, education and training programs. They have partnered with many governmental agencies such as the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission to introduce Manager Awareness Program (MAP). Other trainings offered by NTBA for its members include TABC, TECQ, Health Certificate, and IRS.
As a community partner, they strive to give back at all levels of community, city and state. Collectively NTBA membership supports approximately 5000 local jobs. NTBA members make a huge amount of Tax contribution to local, state and federal agencies. In keeping with their social responsibility, they have also routinely partnered with important initiatives such as the North Texas Food Bank, Cowboy Santas and the Aga Khan Foundation’s Partnerships in Action Program.
