In the Ms. State of Mind pageant, each contestant makes a case for why so many of us love to visit (or live in) their preferred “state.” However, a Good Word comes to bring revelation and healing to those less desirable characteristics represented by the majority of the State Contestants. The runner-up and winner of the pageant demonstrate how we can shed our old mindsets and step forth into a place of peace, deliverance, and well-being.
Staged to resemble an actual beauty pageant with all the usual accoutrements:
• Opening Song & Dance Number • Question & Answer Sessions • Talent Competition • Evening Gown • Sports or Business Wear (or Cultural African Styled Wear) • Instead of the “swimsuit segment,” there will be a “church suit” segment – complete with magnificent hats!
From the moment the audience steps into the theater they will feel like they are at an authentic beauty pageant. Several “consultants” form local pageants such as Ms. Grapevine, Ms. Texas, etc. add to the authenticity.
Special guest performances add to the evening and include performers such as: Comedians, Boy Band Groups, and of course the obligatory “Crooner.”
