LYNYRD SKYNYRD and JIMMIE VAUGHAN & THE TILT-A-WHIRL BAND featuring LOU ANN BARTON will headline the main, “Laid Back” stage at The Pavilion, while THE TEXAS GENTLEMEN, BISHOP GUNN and JAIMOE’S JASSSZ BAND will keep the party going on the more intimate “Low Country” Plaza stage at Irving Music Factory, named for the late co-founder, Gregg Allman’s solo album, “Low Country Blues.” One more artist is scheduled to rock the “Laid Back” stage and will be announced soon.

In 2015, Gregg Allman and his longtime manager Michael Lehman partnered with Live Nation to create the inaugural Laid Back Festival. Headlined by Gregg Allman, the one-day event took place on August 29th, 2015 at New York's Jones Beach Theater with an incredible line-up including The Doobie Brothers, Bruce Hornsby and the Noisemakers, Jaimoe's Jasssz Band, City of the Sun and others.With the passing of festival co-founder, Gregg Allman on May 27, 2017, the Laid Back Festival will continue in 2017 In The Spirit Of Gregg Allman.
