Established in 1969, Chisholm Park is the City of Hurst's largest park, covering 50 acres. Chisholm Park has 3 pavilions available for rental to the public, the Tejas, Longhorn, and Bluebonnet. Each pavilion comes equipped with 8 picnic tables and a grill. All pavilions are under the jurisdiction of the Hurst Parks and Recreation Department and may be reserved on a space available basis by individuals, organizations, and churches.  Amenities include 50 Acres, Aquatics Center, 4 Lighted Youth Baseball/Softball Fields, 2 Lighted Outdoor Basketball Courts, 2 Playgrounds, 3 Pavilions, Pond with Fishing Island, Picnic Tables, 1.5 mile Jogging/Walking Trail System, Fitness Course, Group Shelter, Concession/Restroom Building
