The Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame opened in 2001 in a building that was once a horse and mule barn in the Fort Worth National Historic District. The Hall of Fame honors men and women who have excelled in the sport and business of rodeo and the western lifestyle in Texas. There are currently over 100 inductees in the Hall of Fame.
Some of the exhibits included in the Museum are the John Justin Trail of Fame, Adventures of the Cowboy Trail, Zigrang Bit Collection and the Sterquell Wagon Collection. The Museum is open seven days a week and welcomes groups and field trips with prior arrangements.
