The Promise is a one-of-a-kind musical production performed annually at the Texas Amphitheater in Glen Rose. It combines a 150 cast and crew, live animals, historically accurate costumes and breathtaking visuals and sound effects that depict the life of Jesus Christ in a family-friendly fashion. The Promise is the largest amphitheater in the State of Texas and seats 3200 patrons. It is the only outdoor theater in the United States that has a rain curtain.
The Promise has performances that run from April through May and September through October.
