The studio lot is home to motion picture, television, commercial and related companies. Managed by Muller Entertainment, several major shows have utilized the studios, including ABC's The Deep End, Fox's Prison Break, and CBS's Walker, Texas Ranger. Many popular films have also been shot on location. | Mandalay Canal and Lake Carolyn The other areas that are most frequently used for filming and photo shoots are the canals and waterways of Irving's Mandalay Canal area in Las Colinas, including Lake Carolyn in the Urban Center. These areas are overseen by DCURD (the Dallas County Utility and Reclamation District). For a full list of fees, rules, regulations, insurance requirements, and the forms and permits needed to utilize these locations, review the Property Use Permits on the DCURD website at: www.dcurd.org.
