Learn and Create
Whether this is your first foray into the world of arts and crafts or you’re a total expert, the Stamp & Scrapbook Expo has something for you. Attendees can spend time learning new scrapbooking techniques and experimenting with the latest crafting tools while spending quality time with the lively, vibrant Texas scrapbooking community.
The Stamp & Scrapbook Expo features a wide range of workshops where you can sit down and create a hands-on project using a new product or technique, and leave with something that is finished and ready to put in your album, display, or gift when you get home. The crafting is not limited to scrapbooking either. Attendees can brush up on calligraphy, card making, calendar creation, and coloring mediums which can be used to make a plethora of crafts beyond scrapbooks.
For the workshops, you’ll work with scrapbooking experts who will guide you through using the techniques and products they specialize in. Many workshops are led by the designers and founders of scrapbooking products who provide valuable and creative insights to using the products like you never thought possible.
Check the Workshop Guide ahead of the expo for prices and times. Workshops can span one to three hours. The Workshop Guide will also let you know which tools are provided and what supplies you might want to bring along.
For quick crafts, head to the free Creativity Center where you can complete a fast project and be rewarded with a souvenir “I Created” button. You’ll also find make-and-take stations throughout the exhibit floor where you can demo a product while making something you can keep.
