Six More Major Champions Return to TPC Four Seasons Resort

Dallas native and 2015 Masters champion Jordan Spieth, along with major winners and past AT&T Bryon Nelson champions, Keegan Bradley and Jason Dufner, lead the latest commitments to the 2015 AT&T Byron Nelson which is scheduled to be played the week of May 25 through May 31 at TPC Four Seasons Resort Las Colinas in Irving. A field of 156 players will vie for the $7.1 million purse, the $1,287,000 first-place check and 500 FedExCup points. 

The AT&T Byron Nelson, managed by Salesmanship Club of Dallas, benefits Momentous Institute, which directly serves 6,000 kids and families each year through education and therapeutic services. Since 1968, the tournament has raised over $137 million for Momentous Institute, transforming more than 100,000 lives.

The nine newest commitments, who have a combined 35 PGA TOUR wins and six major championship victories, include Keegan Bradley (3 PGA TOUR wins, 1 PGA Championship), Jason Day (3 PGA TOUR wins), Jason Dufner (3 PGA TOUR wins, 1 PGA Championship), Dustin Johnson (9 PGA TOUR wins), Zach Johnson (11 PGA TOUR wins, 1 Masters), Brooks Koepka (1 PGA TOUR win), Louis Oosthuizan (1 PGA Tour win, 1 Open Championship), Charl Schwartzel (1 PGA TOUR win, 1 Masters), and Jordan Spieth (3 PGA TOUR wins, 1 Masters). 

Spieth, who leads the FedEx Cup points list, has won three times so far during this current PGA TOUR season. Along with winning this year’s Masters, Spieth won the 2014 Hero World Challenge and the 2015 Valspar Championship. Day and Koepka also have won this season. Day, who is ranked 6th in the world, won a playoff to take home the Farmers Insurance Open title, while Koepka took home the trophy this year at the Waste Management Phoenix Open. 

In addition, Masters and PGA Championship winner Vijay Singh, who is also a past AT&T Byron Nelson champion, has committed to return. He joins past champions Dufner (2012), Day (2010), Bradley (2011), Sang Moon Bae (2013), Rory Sabbatini (2009), Scott Verplank (2007) and defending champion Brendon Todd.
