Irving Sports Venues
Located in the heart of one of the richest sports regions in the country, Irving, Texas is home to an impressive range of amateur, college, and professional sporting events every year. If you’re looking to host a sports event in North Texas, look no further than Irving, where you will find excellent venues for just about anything—from golf tournaments to wrestling matches to indoor soccer games.
Irving is a golf haven. Its natural rolling hills and lush greenery make for breathtaking fairways and jaw-dropping views. Be sure to check out the Tournament Player’s Course (TPC) Las Colinas, one of the most luxurious Irving golf courses. This former PGA tour stop for the AT&T Byron Nelson Championship boasts pro-level golfing and amenities. Also on site at the The Ritz-Carlton Dallas, Las Colinas is Cottonwood Valley, the exclusive golf course for members of the Las Colinas Golf and Sports Club. Both courses are meticulously maintained.
Another great option for sporting events is the Las Colinas Country Club, home to an elegant clubhouse and 18-hole championship golf course with views of downtown Dallas. The club also offers exquisite dining options including a restaurant overlooking the 18th green, a lounge and bar, and the 19th Hole, a specialty men’s club and grill. You can also take advantage of the club’s state-of-the-art tennis complex, pool, fitness center, and more. Although this course is private, it is available for hosting tournaments.
Also be sure to check out the newly renovated Irving Golf Club. This municipal golf course features 18 holes with a view of the Dallas skyline. A clubhouse and pro shop are located on-site.
Multipurpose Athletic Facilities
With 40,000 square feet of basketball and volleyball courts, 10,000 square feet of synthetic turf, and a training area, Drive Nation Sports has the capability of hosting a wide range of sporting events. The state-of-the-art indoor facility can host youth or adult basketball, football, soccer, and volleyball for all of your clinic, camp, tournament, or championship needs in the DFW area. There are a handful of other convenient sports venues not far from Irving. Mesquite Arena/Rodeo Center is an excellent choice for rodeo and motocross events. Elm Fork Shooting Sports has 267 acres for corporate or league shooting events and regularly hosts clay shooting tournaments. The Colony Five Star Complex has fields for baseball, soccer, football, and softball. And, at Big League Dreams, in nearby Mansfield, your group can play softball or baseball on replica fields of some of America’s most beloved ballparks like Wrigley Field or Fenway Park.
