Go on the Hunt for your Favorite Margarita at the Irving Margarita Festival

September 24, 2022

Fall might be just around the corner, but it’s still margarita weather in Texas. Sample some of the city’s best margaritas and vote for your favorite at the Irving Margarita Festival at the Texas Lottery Plaza. If margaritas aren’t your thing, you can cool down with a cold brew in the beer garden, munch on street tacos, or check out one of the many food trucks at the event. Tickets are available for purchase here.

Check out the Barley and Bites Festival

September 24, 2022

You’ll want to come hungry to the Barley and Bites Festival at Levy Event Plaza. The inaugural boozy event will have a variety of beer, wine, and food from area vendors like Hop Fusion Ale Works, 3 Nations Brewing, and Smokey D’s DFW, among others. The family-friendly event will also feature yard games, mini golf, and Irving’s Annual Hot Wing Challenge for those brave enough to enter.

Sneak in Some Fun in the Sun Before Summer Ends

Soak in the last few days of pool weather at the luxurious Four Seasons Resort and Club in Las Colinas through Labor Day weekend or make plans to enjoy one of the aquatic facilities in the city. You’ll want to check out their new fall schedule here! If you’re looking for something a bit more adventurous, check out SUP NTX for paddleboard, pedalboat, and kayak rentals. And for those looking for a more relaxing activity, there are plenty of patios to dine al fresco now that the weather is starting to cool down some.
