Trying to agree on where to eat? Angie’s may have the answer.

The new Irving restaurant brings salads, pizza, burgers, seafood and more to one menu. That makes it an easy choice for a quick lunch, a family dinner or a bite between stops around town.

What sounds good?

Start with one of 10 large, fresh-cut salads made with organic romaine. They’re $4.99, with options for grilled-to-order antibiotic-free chicken or house-made falafel.

More in the mood for pizza? Angie’s cooks its 12-inch pies to order, starting at $6.99. The team makes the sauce in-house with imported San Marzano tomatoes, oregano, salt, pepper and extra virgin olive oil. They also grate the whole-milk mozzarella themselves, with no additives or fillers.

For something heartier, try USDA Prime Top Sirloin Steak, antibiotic-free chicken, salmon, wild-caught colossal shrimp or seared house-made falafel. Angie’s serves them in warm brown rice bowls, grilled burritos, fresh-cut salads and protein bowls. They grill premium proteins to order in extra virgin olive oil.

They also offer USDA Prime burgers, hand-battered and breaded chicken, seafood, and 99-cent drinks. Go ahead and let everyone order what they’re craving.

There’s a story behind the name

Angie's

Angie’s is named for founder Tony Christofellis’ late mother, Angela “Angie” Christofellis. A Greek immigrant and single mother, Angie spent years working in seafood restaurants before opening her own. Look for her photograph inside the restaurant and her signature in its name.

Tony and his wife, Roushan, created Angie’s to make premium ingredients more affordable. By making many ingredients in-house, controlling more of their supply chain and keeping operations efficient, they say they can invest in food quality, their employees and lower prices.

“We don’t chase revenue. We chase efficiency,” Tony said. “That efficiency-driven model allows us to keep prices low while investing in high wages and the best ingredients we can source. Our culture is about investing in what matters most: our food and our people.”

“We are changing who has access to premium proteins and healthier ingredients,” Roushan said. “Luxury foods should not only be available to higher-income consumers.”
