Irving is a dining destination filled with authentic and culturally diverse cuisine. With the many only-in-Irving places to dine, there’s never a shortage of good eats to find in the city.

On your next visit to town, a stop at Via Reál should be on your list. This home-grown woman-owned restaurant has been serving the community for nearly 40 years and offers a fine dining experience with a menu specializing in Mexican and Southwestern cuisine. Whether you come for family dinner, a solo lunch date or drinks with friends - it’s an experience for everyone to enjoy!

Here a few menu highlights:

Something Light

If you’re in the mood for a light snack, go for a few shareable apps like the smoked brisket flautas, crab cake or queso dip. And for a healthy option, there are a handful of soups or salads such as tortilla soup and jalapeño Caesar salad.

Tex-Mex Staples

Via Real’s take on your favorite Tex-Mex dishes will blow your taste buds away. Try the tacos, enchiladas and tamales combo that’s served with Spanish rice and black beans. Also, you can’t go wrong with the quesadillas! Choose from the shrimp, fajita chicken or beef, or spinach that’s served with a side of their red bell pepper sauce.

Unique Dishes

A signature (and super popular) entree includes the Chilean sea bass. It’s pecan crusted and served with sauteed asparagus, cilantro potatoes and a pineapple cream sauce. And for a Southwest specialty item, the chicken Monterey is a great choice. It’s a grilled chicken breast with Texas goat cheese and spinach, topped with Monterey jack cheese and served with poblano rice.

Drinks and Dessert

For drinks, you’ll find an impressive wine menu of thoughtfully selected wines from around the world, as well as signature margaritas that you are welcome to custom-create from their full line of tequilas.

Last but not least, don’t skip out on dessert. Everything is made in-house, and the menu features key lime pie, vanilla bean flan and white chocolate crème brûlée, just to name a few.

Via Reál is open daily for lunch and dinner, and they serve an incredible Sunday brunch buffet from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Make a reservation today!
