For nearly a decade, Subz n Stuff has been a cornerstone of the Irving community, known for its warm, welcoming vibe and mouthwatering, made-to-order sandwiches. Owner Jami Sohail has built this spot into more than just a sandwich shop—it’s a local institution where quality, community, and a personal touch come first.

At Subz n Stuff, everything starts with fresh ingredients. Jami makes it clear that preservatives have no place there, so all of the breads are sourced locally, and the meats and cheeses are sliced to order. It’s no wonder certain sandwiches, like The Maverick—an absolute tower of a sub—require a 30-minute call ahead. Along with The Maverick, five other sandwiches (The Cowboy, Ranger, Pizza Sub, Garden Burger, and BBQ sandwiches) are cut and prepared fresh when ordered, ensuring that each bite is packed with flavor.

Subz n Stuff offers both cold and hot subs, and if you’re a fan of variety, you’ll appreciate that the menu features a rotating daily special. These specials change based on what’s fresh and available. You might find yourself with a chicken breast marinated in one of Jami’s signature sauces and served on specialty bread—but be warned, once it’s gone, it’s gone!
Speaking of those signature sauces, Jami’s a bit of a sauce aficionado. He’s crafted 99 sauces to date and many of them are bottled for customers to take home. There’s even a sauce stand inside the shop, but don’t go overboard—Jami encourages guests to only take what they’ll use because he’s all about reducing waste. As for that sauce project he’s working on? You’ll have to visit the shop to get the inside scoop!

One of the most notable things about Subz n Stuff is the way Jami runs his restaurant. This place might just be the closest thing Irving has to a modern-day “Cheers.” He may not know everyone’s name, but he certainly knows what they ordered last. Regulars will often be greeted with a "How was that sub last time?" or "Want the usual?" It’s not just about sandwiches here—it’s about connection.
Beyond the food, Subz n Stuff remains deeply involved in the community. Jami is a regular participant in local events and fundraisers, adding to the shop’s reputation as more than just a place to eat—it’s a hub for the people of Irving.

So, whether you’re in the mood for a hearty sub, curious about the daily special, or just want to grab one of those sauces, Subz n Stuff offers more than just a meal. It offers an experience steeped in quality, community, and a dash of Jami’s remarkable memory. Stop by and see why this place is truly uniquely Irving.
