Irving’s annual Sparks & Stripes celebration brings two days of patriotic fun to life each summer—and 2025 was one for the record books! More than 10,000 attendees gathered at Levy Event Plaza to enjoy live music, delicious food, lawn games, and a jaw-dropping drone and fireworks show over Lake Carolyn. Thousands more joined the excitement by tuning in to the live YouTube broadcast.

The evening kicked off with a patriotic flyover and high-energy performances from local favorite Midtown 10 and country artist Coffey Anderson. The night ended with a truly unforgettable moment—Irving set the Guinness World Record for the largest aerial formation of a cowboy hat made by drones!

After the show, the celebration continued at the Sparks & Stripes After Party at Toyota Music Factory, where The Plaza came alive with live music, festive photo ops, giveaways, and bar specials.

On the morning of July 4, the festivities moved to Irving’s Heritage District for the beloved Sparks & Stripes Parade. The streets came alive with vibrant floats, marching bands, and local organizations showing off their red, white, and blue spirit. After the parade, the fun continued at Heritage Park with live music, carnival games, a pie eating contest, and more family-friendly activities.
