Definitely a place locals will recommend when visiting Irving, Water Street is a scenic blend of restaurants and to-go shops that create a small-town Main Street feel, even though you're surrounded by Las Colinas skyscrapers. It is the perfect place to catch up with friends or gather for a family meal; there is something here for everyone. Located just around the bend from Toyota Music Factory and along the shores of Lake Carolyn, you can enjoy lakeside beers, gourmet coffee and some of the freshest Mexican cuisine you will ever have!

Hugo’s Invitados

5240 N O'Connor Blvd #160

Known for their fresh, never-fried, Mexican-inspired dishes, Hugo’s Invitados is a dreamy dining experience with a flavorful menu, hand-crafted cocktails and welcoming staff. With made-from-scratch cooking and refreshing twists on classic foods, there is no regret in indulging in the bright flavors of Hugo’s. Some menu item favorites include the octopus a la parrilla appetizer with ancho-marinated wood-grilled octopus, roasted poblano mash, red onions and milpa tomatillo sauce. Or try the crackling pollo entree, chipotle shrimp tacos and Hugo's tres leches cake for dessert. For those looking to lift spirits while dining, you can never go wrong with a sip of one of their incredible tequila selections or tasty cocktails like the grilled pineapple margarita or Paloma. Gather inside the beautifully appointed dining room or on their shaded patio. You'll truly get the sense of the meaning, “mi casa es su casa.”

Cork & Pig Tavern

5224 N O'Connor Blvd

The perfect place for happy hour, dinner with friends or weekend date night, Cork & Pig Tavern serves up delicious food in an elevated casual environment. Daily specials and seasonal cocktails make dining with Cork & Pig an exciting experience with every visit. They have one of the best patios with a bistro feel, comfy chairs and great lighting for taking foodie pictures to post on social media! Their double-cut pork chop with bourbon glaze is a must-have, but you cannot go wrong with any of their stacked-high sandwiches or wood-fired pizzas. Cork & Pig is also the place to be for weekend brunch with great mimosa deals and breakfast items that hit both sweet and savory.

Pax & Beneficia Coffee

5244 N O'Connor Blvd #150

One of the most exciting openings in Las Colinas for coffee addicts like me, Pax & Beneficia brings the high-end coffee experience to Water Street. Fresh coffee, talented baristas and worldly flavors keep Pax & Beneficia a local favorite and drive-worthy for neighboring cities. Classic lattes, cappuccinos and pour over coffees are available, but definitely do not be afraid to step out of your comfort zone and try the rich bitterness of their Turkish Coffee or flavorful lattes with rose and cardamom. Keep an eye on their social media for seasonal creations or stop in and talk with their extremely friendly staff to create the perfect caffeine (or decaf) drink for you.

Go Fish Poke

5244 N O'Connor Blvd #154

If fresh seafood is what you are looking for, then Go Fish Poke is the place to be. Poke is a favorite dish in Hawaii and Japan with savory and sweet flavors combining together with raw fish to create a satisfying bowl. The beauty of Go Fish Poke is the endless custom combinations you can create. Go for all the spice with pepper tuna and wasabi yuzu sauce or make it sweet for a hot summer day with shrimp and mango. My perfect bowl would consist of half rice/half salad base, ahi tuna, cucumber, mango, sweet onion, fresh jalapenos and avocado with ponzu dressing. Enjoy your bowl on their bright patio, or take it to-go and enjoy a picnic on the urban shores of Lake Carolyn. You will see several public seating options along Water Street to enjoy the sun and fresh flavors of Go Fish Poke.

Monaco

5238 N O'Connor Blvd #134

Situated along Lake Carolyn’s waterfront and overlooking the canals of Las Colinas, Monaco is a classy and sophisticated dining experience waiting to welcome you. The French Riviera-inspired concept and ambiance is sure to please for your lunch break, special occasion dinner, and weekend brunch. For starters, go with Burrata & Prosciutto and the Fritto Misto – fresh seasonal veggies, battered and fried, and served with a smoked paprika aioli for dipping. Then dive into the entrees and enjoy dishes from roasted oysters to smoked beef tartare and Margherita pizza.

The Ginger Man

5228 N O'Connor Blvd #126

The best place to enjoy a sunny weekend day, The Ginger Man pours over 100 beers on draught from around the world. 5238 N O'Connor Blvd #136

For a fine dining experience, Pacific Table is a lovely option for date night or celebrating with friends and family. Fresh seafood, sushi and coastal-inspired entrees make this lakeside establishment feel like a vacation escape. Delicious handcrafted cocktails and an impressive wine list compliment each and every dish. Servers are knowledgeable on the menu items and will happily pair your picks with the perfect wine or martini. Some favorites include the pacific dip, spicy rock shrimp, yellowtail jalapeno roll, shucked-to-order oysters, miso salmon and for dessert, their seasonal pot de crème. Everyone has a sweet tooth and Creamistry is the ultimate (nitrogen) ice-cold indulgence. Premium liquid nitrogen ice cream made fresh with each order and fully customizable, is what makes Creamistry so unique and simply cool. You feel as if you have walked into a sweet flavor laboratory where the hypothesis to be proven is “how many are too many brownie bites on top of your creation?” Enjoy scoops, shakes or piled high signature creations. Grab a spoon and hit the paved pathway of Water Street or lay back and relax on the grass lawn.
