Friday
First things first – picking the perfect hotel for your stay in the city. Consider the Marriott Las Colinas for panoramic views of Lake Carolyn or Texican Court for a unique boutique hotel experience. Check out our list for even more places to stay.
After you’ve settled into your hotel and the whole crew has arrived, it’s time for dinner! No trip to Texas is complete without at least one Tex-Mex meal. La Margarita offers a blend of traditional favorites and modern dishes, as well as an extensive margarita list. Mexican Sugar is another fan favorite with creative Latin comfort food and drink flights you won’t regret.
Treat your sweet tooth and end the night with dessert at LAW, located inside the Four Seasons Resort and Club.
Saturday
Grab a coffee and a small bite to eat, then start the day with a morning walk at Bird’s Fort Trail Park – a 58-acre park with plenty of walking trails to enjoy.
Get your relaxation on by booking a spa date at Mokara Salon & Spa. Enjoy a variety of spa services including facials, massages and body treatments that will leave you feeling rejuvenated.
Head back to the hotel for some downtime and to prep for a fun night ahead. Then hop over to Toyota Music Factory – a lively and walkable destination with a plethora of options to dine and catch a live show. If you’re in the mood for a concert, be sure to check the events calendar to see who’s in town.
If you're looking for a different type of nighttime activity, book a bowling lane at Pinstack for some friendly competition with your best girls. More than just bowling, they also have bumper cars and a high ropes course, as well as tasty food, cocktails, and over-the-top 32 oz milkshakes.
Sunday
End the weekend on a high with a boozy brunch and a sightseeing tour of the city. Make your way to Water Street, a mixed-use development on the shores of Lake Carolyn, and feast on a hearty meal and patio views at Cork & Pig Tavern.
Next up, stop by the newly revitalized William Square and iconic Mustangs of Las Colinas. The plaza beckons you to take a photo and explore one of the world’s largest bronze equine sculptures, the Mustangs were recently restored to their original appearance from 40 years ago. You can bet there will be many future events to be held in this beautiful area. The plaza upgrades include an urban greenspace area, which features a pedestrian-friendly open-air space surrounded by trees and landscape improvements, as well as moveable tables, chairs and a multipurpose patio.
Last but not least, don't forget to swing by the beautiful Flower Clock for some photo ops with your girlfriends before saying adieu.
