Food and Entertainment

Taste of Irving is the city’s original and largest food showcase featuring more than 20 restaurants and vendors. Along with tons of food, the festival also features live music and dance performances on multiple stages with music spanning genres such as jazz, blues, Latin, and more. Additional activities and offerings include a free fun zone where kids can play for hours, a large craft marketplace, and culinary entertainment where you might score a free sample.

Of course, the food is the real show-stopper. Admission to Taste of Irving is free, and many of Irving’s finest dining establishments sell menu items for $5 or less. It’s the perfect chance to try that new restaurant or food truck you’ve been hearing about.

Past restaurants have included local hotspots like Bar Louie, Pink Frosting Cupcakes, Southern Spice Indian Kitchen, Edible Cravings Catering, Snappy Salads, Aspen Creek, The Halal Guys, and Slim Chickens; and regional food truck faves like The Hot Potato and Chef Cassy’s Creations. Guests can sample from a wide range of cuisine, including burgers and fries, tacos, Thai food, snow cones, sweet treats, and so much more. Whatever you choose, the flavors at Taste of Irving are incredible and a true reflection of Irving’s diverse community.

That’s why the annual festival has become one of our favorite places to eat in Irving, even though it’s only once a year. Everyone has the chance to sample offerings from the best restaurants in Irving, TX, watch cooking demonstrations, and meet new, food-loving friends.

Family Fun

Taste of Irving is an outdoor festival that takes advantage of the typically beautiful Texas weather—enjoy tasty food at picnic tables under blue skies while the spring breeze keeps you cool. The event includes activities for the whole family, and the Texas Lottery Stage providing entertainment throughout the afternoon.
