Mom, Momma, Mother, Mommy, Mama, Mamacita, Mummy, Mum, Madre, Ma - Each and every one of them deserves a solo staycation! Seriously, there’s no “paid time off” for being a mom - especially after a year of parenting during a global pandemic - a year when Mum has not been just a parent, but a teacher, chef, housekeeper, coach, activity director, entertainer, referee, and so on.

Cheers for Craft Beers in Irving

Warm weather and locally crafted beers make the perfect match for this time of year. Enjoy sipping brews on some of Irving’s best patios and restaurants. Craft beer can be defined as coming from a brewery or microbrewery that produces small amounts of beer and is commonly independently owned. Cult following and general local pride have formed around craft breweries for they tend to have constantly changing flavors, unique brewing techniques, and lots of enthusiasm for their product. Texas - specifically North Texas - provides no shortage of local craft beers, and several restaurants in Irving are proud to pour you a pint! Check out these awesome spots in Irving for craft beers.

I once read that “Motherhood is powered by love, fueled by coffee, and sustained by wine.” This quote got me to chuckling, but I don’t think it’s entirely true. We moms run on so many other awesome things that we might not always get, but we love so dearly like mani-pedis, chocolate, movies, and late-night Netflix binge when everyone else is asleep. So to celebrate Mother’s Day this year, we’ve put together a fun itinerary, featuring some of the things mentioned above, for moms to make the most of the holiday in Irving.

With the weather warming up, nothing sounds better than fresh air and fresh oysters! While we may be far from the sea, Irving still has some incredible oyster options to satisfy even the pickiest seafood eater. So all that is left to ask is, east coast or west coast? Check out these great spots in Irving to get your raw, Rockefeller, or fried oysters on!
