In 2011, Elysa and her husband started a community project to share their love of food and technology. Since its launch, DallasFoodNerd.com has had the pleasure of supporting hundreds of locally-owned restaurants, chefs, and food festivals! Elysa says her favorite food group is “cheese flavored carbs” - think Fettuccini Alfredo, charcuterie boards, pizza, enchiladas, and more! A Texas-native, Elysa grew up in Irving and has enjoyed revisiting some oldies favorites and discovering new places with Visit Irving.
